Jason Mallow is a musician, songwriter, mix engineer, and producer known for his work across various music genres. Recognized for his skills as a drummer, guitarist, and bassist, Jason has had music placements with notable companies like ESPN and HBO. His musical style is described as aggressively expressive, reflecting a creative approach to his work.
Jason draws from a broad range of influences and does not limit himself to a single genre. His work has been featured in advertisements and broadcasts, showcasing his ability to create music that resonates with a wide audience. Jason has taught music privately for over 30 years and has also taught at the School of Rock franchise in the Chicagoland area.
Jeremy Simmons is a musician, sound engineer, and music producer who has been playing guitar, bass, lap steel, and slide guitar professionally for over 30 years. He toured with multiple bands on the East Coast music scene and throughout North and Central Texas, where he opened for artists like The Marshall Tucker Band, The Great Divide, and Cory Morrow. He plays and teaches a wide range of styles including country, rock, blues, reggae, R&B, and slide guitar, bringing real-world versatility and experience into every lesson.
Jeremy has run sound at major music festivals and venues like SXSW, the National Guitar Workshop, and the Cactus Theater. He holds a degree in sound technology and has taught music theory, guitar, and bass professionally at the School of Rock (Pennsylvania), the Foote School (Connecticut), and in private lessons. His teaching style is all about meeting students where they're at and helping them get where they want to be — from mastering common technique issues to developing theory, instrument knowledge, and their own style.
