Jeremy Simmons
Multi-Instrument Instructor

Jeremy Simmons is a musician, sound engineer, and music producer who has been playing guitar, bass, lap steel, and slide guitar professionally for over 30 years. He toured with multiple bands on the East Coast music scene and throughout North and Central Texas, where he opened for artists like The Marshall Tucker Band, The Great Divide, and Cory Morrow. He plays and teaches a wide range of styles including country, rock, blues, reggae, R&B, and slide guitar, bringing real-world versatility and experience into every lesson.

Jeremy has run sound at major music festivals and venues like SXSW, the National Guitar Workshop, and the Cactus Theater. He holds a degree in sound technology and has taught music theory, guitar, and bass professionally at the School of Rock (Pennsylvania), the Foote School (Connecticut), and in private lessons. His teaching style is all about meeting students where they're at and helping them get where they want to be — helping new students master common technique issues, and guiding advanced players through theory, instrument knowledge, and developing their own style.
